Your Questions,
Answered

Clear, straightforward answers about porting, deployment timelines, and service agreements.

Can we keep our existing business phone numbers?

Yes. Your main numbers, direct lines, toll-free numbers, and fax numbers can be transferred to SpokeIP. We coordinate the porting process with your current provider and carefully plan your go-live date to minimize disruption.

How much does a SpokeIP phone system cost?

Pricing depends on your number of users, selected subscriptions, equipment, integrations, and system requirements. During your Phone System Game Plan, we’ll provide clear, customized pricing and help you avoid paying for features your employees won’t use. Bulk pricing may be available for larger teams.

Will switching phone providers interrupt our business?

We plan the transition carefully to keep your business communicating throughout the switch. Your system is designed, configured, and tested before your numbers transfer, and our team supports you through go-live.

How much work will our team have to do?

Very little. We manage the project, coordinate number transfers, configure users and call routing, prepare devices, and train your employees. We’ll need your input on how calls should flow, but you won’t be expected to build or manage the system yourself.

How long does it take to switch?

Most phone numbers require approximately 10–30 business days to transfer. Your complete timeline will depend on your number of users, locations, integrations, equipment, and current provider. We’ll create a clear implementation schedule before onboarding begins. (Typically a 4-8 week process)

Can different employees have different plans and devices?

Yes. You can mix and match subscriptions based on how each employee works. Team members can use desk phones, headsets, desktop applications, mobile applications, or a combination of devices—without putting everyone on the same plan.

Do you provide employee and manager training?

Yes. We train employees on everyday calling features and provide additional guidance for managers and administrators. Our goal is for your team to feel comfortable and prepared before the system goes live.

What happens when we need help after the installation?

Lyda Rose continues managing and supporting your phone system after launch. Whether you need troubleshooting, a new employee added, a call route changed, or help opening another location, you’ll have a responsive support team to call.

Can SpokeIP support multiple offices or remote employees?

Yes. We can create a consistent communication experience across multiple locations, remote employees, and mobile teams. Employees can stay connected through desk phones, desktop applications, mobile applications, and shared call-routing tools.

Can the phone system integrate with Microsoft Teams, our CRM, or our EHR?

Yes. Integration options are available for Microsoft Teams and many popular CRM, EHR, dental, automotive, legal, and business applications. We’ll review your current software during the Game Plan and confirm the available integration options for your organization.

What happens if our office internet or power goes down?

Your call-routing strategy can include backup destinations such as mobile devices, remote employees, or another office. We’ll help you design a continuity plan based on your locations, internet connections, and operational needs.

Do we have to sign a long-term contract?

Standard service begins with a one-year agreement and continues month to month after the initial term. Longer agreement options may be available for businesses that want to reduce their monthly pricing. We’ll explain all terms clearly before you make a decision.

Are desk phones and headsets included?

Qualifying subscriptions may include select desk phones or headsets at no upfront equipment cost. Available models, eligibility, and offer terms depend on the selected plan. We’ll show you the available options with your customized pricing.

What if we are still under contract or planning a future office move?

You can still schedule a Phone System Game Plan. We’ll review your current contract timeline, upcoming move, growth plans, and ideal transition date so you can prepare early without feeling rushed.

What happens during the Phone System Game Plan?

We’ll review your current phone setup, call-routing challenges, users, locations, integrations, equipment, and future plans. You’ll receive personalized recommendations, clear pricing, and a practical path toward a better-managed phone system.
